Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 10th December 2023 Written Update: Armaan reveals the truth

The episode begins with Vidya questioning Armaan about whether he is married. She feels betrayed by him. Armaan insists that he would never betray her and reveals that he got married to her that day. Vidya asks him if he skipped his brother’s wedding to marry her. Armaan explains that their marriage happened suddenly and it was the best decision for them. Despite Rohith’s attempt to intervene, Vidya tells him to stay out of their matters and vents her anger towards him. Kaveri comments on Abhira being a spoiled brat who has entered their house as a daughter-in-law. Manisha suggests that they give that title to Rohith instead. Amidst the chaos, Manoj tries to silence everyone but ends up calling Abhira a gold digger. Abhira defends herself by explaining the circumstances that led to their marriage.

Armaan defends Abhira and requests everyone to choose their words carefully since they are talking about his wife. Kaveri accuses Abhira of trapping Armaan, but he clarifies that she actually saved his life and worried about her daughter’s future. Vidya questions the need for marriage if he already had the responsibility of taking care of Abhira. Armaan explains that he couldn’t deny her wish at that time because it was a matter of their family’s respect. Kaveri refuses to accept Abhira as her daughter-in-law and insults her. However, Rohith stands up for Abhira and asserts that she is Armaan’s wife, deserving respect in the house. He asks Kajal to perform the Grahpravesh ritual for Abhira. Kajal does so while Vidya walks away.

Abhira reminisces about the conversations she had with Armaan, where he encouraged her to study well and become a successful lawyer. She convinces herself that she is merely a guest in this house. Rohith places a rice pot, and Abhira accidentally kicks it, reminiscent of how she had mistakenly ruined the Grahpravesh ceremony before. She leaves her footprints on the floor and accidentally knocks down a tortoise statue, similar to how she had damaged Armaan’s car as a return gift. The family members bless Abhira, and Manisha assures her that they will accept her soon, letting go of the past. Abhira is embraced by her cousins in happiness. Rohith requests everyone to let Abhira rest. Vidya expresses her disbelief at Armaan’s betrayal, while Kaveri recalls Abhira insulting her in the past.

Rohith intervenes, reminding everyone that Abhira is now a part of their family. He emphasizes that if Akshara hadn’t saved her, Armaan wouldn’t be alive today. Vidya tries to stop him, but he insists that they should be grateful to Abhira instead of treating her poorly. He suggests that they welcome her grandly. However, Kaveri remains adamant and expresses her refusal to accept Abhira. Kajal’s husband raises his hand on Kaveri, leading to his mother’s intervention. Armaan and Abhira leave for their room, while Ruhi observes them.

In the upcoming episode, Ruhi questions Armaan about whether he lied to the family. Armaan assures her that he would never play with someone’s life.
