On Wednesday, actor John Abraham joined the shooting of Shah Rukh Khan starrer film ‘Pathaan’. After several delays, the shooting of the film has finally resumed last Friday at the Yash Raj Studios. In the next few days, the film’s heroine Deepika Padukone is also slated to join the shooting of this film. Soon, the entire team will be travelling to various international locations to shoot lengthy action sequences assisted by renowned stunt choreographers. Before travelling to these international locations, a major portion of the film will be shot in this Mumbai schedule.
According to the sources, producer Aditya Chopra and director Siddharth Anand are leaving no stone unturned to make the film an action-packed visual extravaganza. Currently, Sidharth is filming some interesting and crucial parts of the film with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham at the Yash Raj Studios. Further, Deepika Padukone will join the shoot in the next few days. In this schedule, Shah Rukh and John will be facing each other to shoot some intriguing scenes of the film.
Earlier on Friday, Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studios was quite busy as almost all of the ‘Pathaan’ crew was present at the set. Several media photographers spotted Shahrukh Khan and Siddharth Anand in a discussion. The film ‘Pathaan’ is set to be the turning point of Aditya Chopra’s fictional detective world, which will combine the worlds of spies Tiger, Zoya and Kabir.
After the vaccination of the entire crew members, Yash Raj Films got the green signal to shoot for the film ‘Pathaan’. Earlier, the shooting of the film was scheduled to take place in Europe in the months of April and May but due to the second wave, the shooting of the film was postponed. Now, the shooting of this film has started in the Yash Raj Studios itself.
Apart from ‘Pathaan’, Yash Raj Films also intends to complete the shooting of ‘Tiger 3 in 2021 but the shooting of the film hasn’t quite progressed as expected. The Yash Raj Films recently removed the sets of the film ‘Tiger 3’ from Goregaon in Mumbai and the members of the film are yet to get vaccinated.
Yash Raj Films’ three movies are slated to release for a long time now. This year, Yash Raj Films has only been able to release ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’. This film of director Dibakar Banerjee, which was released just before the second wave of COVID-19, was completely rejected by the audience. After this, three films of Yash Raj Films ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and ‘Prithviraj’ are slated to be released.
