Anubhav Sinha speaks on the news around Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, ‘Everyday Drama is disturbing’

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has stirred up the very bowels of the Hindi Film industry, popularly known as Bollywood. With people having varied opinions about the star’s death, there has been a lot of talk about nepotism being the cause of Sushant’s death.

The news of Sushant Singh Rajput committing suicide came to light on the 14th of June and his funeral took place on the very next day in Mumbai.

Anubhav Sinha on SSR’s death

Anubhav Sinha said to IANS, “What is going on is ridiculous. I would allow that young boy to rest. He must have been really disturbed in his head, restless and not at peace at all. I think we should just let him be for some time. It’s not easy to take your own life and especially when you’re doing rather well. We need to keep quiet but a lot has been spoken about, and I suspect there is some politics that has gotten into it, and that’s not good for anybody – not for the boy at all.”

He further said that one should be sensitive towards Sushant’s family. He told IANS, “They need to think about him and his family. Every day there is some drama or another, which is disturbing. I didn’t know him, I never met him, but I am disturbed.”

In conclusion

While the news of Sushant’s suicide turned the industry upside down, there are still layers to what happens behind the screen which the audiences stand largely unaware of, and it is to be seen how and when each fabric of it is brought to light.
