The shooting of John Abraham’s upcoming film ‘Satyamev Jayate 2′ is in the final stages. The release date of the film hasn’t been revealed yet but it’s expected to be announced soon. The producers of this flick are currently working day and night to somehow fit the trending farmers’ protest into its storyline. It seems that this action-drama film starring John Abraham will now be inspired by the farmers’ protest.

This film is being directed by ‘Ek Villain’ director Milap Zaveri. The shooting was initiated in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, post lockdown. In Lucknow itself, John completed more than half of the film’s shooting. After Lucknow, some part of the film was shot in Varanasi’s Ganga-Ghaat too. Reportedly, a song was filmed at the Ganga Ghaat in which John will be seen as a Satyagrahi, wearing a turban.

In this sequel of the film ‘Satyamev Jayate’, John Abraham will be seen as a politician. In this role as a politician, the spirit of nationalism is highlighted. The motive of the film is to portray John’s character as a mirror for corrupt leaders. John also launched a campaign to improve the condition of farmers within the country.

According to the sources, John Abraham is aiming to complete the shooting of ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ as soon as possible because he has to start shooting for Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ from the next month. In the film ‘Pathan’, Shahrukh Khan will be seen as a detective, while John Abraham will be the villain.

Not just Pathan, John is slated to start shooting for the film ‘Ek Villain 2’ with Mohit Suri in February. With the year 2020, the shooting of ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ will also be completed by the upcoming weekend. For now, John is ready to return to Mumbai with his entire team.
