When asked about the intensity of her role in ‘Jaane Jaan’ compared to her previous work, Kareena addressed the perception that she doesn’t take on challenging roles. She said, “I have done intense roles earlier as well, but people don’t remember that, aap log sirf Pooh aur Geet ko yaad rakhte ho” (you all only remember Pooh and Geet). Kareena highlighted some of her earlier films, such as “Yuva,” “Omkara,” and “Chameli,” in which she played demanding characters and delivered exceptional performances.

When asked about her motivation for taking on ‘Jaane Jaan’, Kareena explained that she is always looking to do something different as an actor. She noted that people often remember her iconic characters but may overlook her diverse body of work. She emphasized that her career has always included a variety of roles.

During the trailer premiere event, Kareena also mentioned that her husband, Saif Ali Khan, advised her to approach her work seriously and with great care, especially when working with talented actors like Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. She shared that Saif enjoyed the film and was eagerly looking forward to the audience’s response to her new avatar.
