Doree 26th December 2023 Written Update: Kailash Devi treats Doree like a servant

The latest episode of Doree begins with Kailash Devi telling Doree that girls should lower their eyes. However, Doree questions why only girls should do so when both boys and girls have been given eyes by God. Neelu, on the other hand, thinks that Mansi is just a name sake wife of Anand and plans to take her place in the room. Neelu puts on Mansi’s saree and checks her jewellery, while Doree enters the room covered in a bedsheet. She tells Kailash Devi that she doesn’t need to lower her eyes as she is taller than Vansh. Kailash Devi notices Satho carrying Doree on his shoulder and scolds him for entering the house without permission. Vansh pushes them both down. Meanwhile, Anand questions Neelu about her presence in his room, to which she replies that she is staying there with him alone and asks him not to look down on her. Anand requests her to take Doree out of the house, assuring that he will meet her outside within two hours.

Kailash Devi insists that Satho should stay on the floor, but Vansh accuses her of creating drama. Doree questions Kailash Devi’s belief that girls should be under the feet of boys, stating that God created both boys and girls and they are not different. Vansh demands that Satho leave the house, while Kailash Devi mentions that Doree asks too many questions and should also learn household chores. She tells Doree that today is her first Rasoi (cooking), instructing her to lower her eyes. Doree follows her instructions, while Mansi and Komal are seen cooking in the kitchen.

Kailash Devi points out that Mansi and Komal come from a rich family but still cook in the kitchen, whereas Doree, from a poor family, should be the one cooking. She assigns Doree various tasks, such as filling water in the pot, cutting vegetables, and preparing 50 rotis (Indian bread). Mansi questions how Doree will manage all the tasks alone, and Kailash Devi asks her to collect the clothes for dry washing and Komal to prepare pickle. Kailash Devi warns Doree not to spill water and threatens her with punishment if she fails. Vansh teases Doree, and Kailash Devi urges her to complete the tasks quickly.

Doree faces difficulties while trying to fill water and ends up spilling it, leading to Kailash Devi ordering her to clean the floor as punishment. Doree complies and then tries to fill the pot again. She is also instructed to cut the vegetables in the same size, but accidentally cuts her finger. Vansh criticizes her for ruining the vegetables, and Kailash Devi asks her to clean her hand and cut the vegetables again. Neelu notices Kailash Devi’s mistreatment of Doree and gets frustrated with the delay in her plan.

Kailash Devi asks Vansh to keep a close watch on Doree before leaving. Doree questions Vansh about why she is the only one receiving training, to which Vansh claims that boys already know everything and don’t need training. Doree challenges him to cook roti, and Vansh burns his hand in the process. Kailash Devi arrives and Vansh lies, blaming Doree for his injury. Doree denies the accusation, but Kailash Devi burns her hand as punishment.

In the upcoming episode, Ganga Prasad seeks Mansi’s help.
