‘Dono’ Trailer Unveiled: Paloma Dhillon and Rajveer Deol’s Romantic Tale Amidst a Grand Indian Wedding
The trailer for ‘Dono’, featuring Paloma Dhillon, daughter of actor Poonam Dhillon, and Rajveer Deol, son of Sunny Deol, has been unveiled. Rajshri Productions shared the trailer on Instagram with the caption, “Drum roll! The wait is finally over; Dono trailer out now…” Directed by Avnish S Barjatya, son of renowned filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, ‘Dono’ is set to hit theatres on October 5.
The film’s story unfolds amidst a grand destination wedding. Dev (Rajveer Deol), a close friend of the bride, crosses paths with Meghna (Paloma), a friend of the groom. As the festivities of a lavish Indian wedding unfold, a romance blossoms between these two strangers.
Dev, who has harboured deep feelings for the bride for a long time, reluctantly attends her wedding. On the other hand, Meghna is newly single, having recently ended a six-year relationship. The trailer hints at the unexpected encounter and connection between Dev and Meghna.
The film’s producers held a trailer launch event in Mumbai on Monday, attended by the cast and crew, including Sunny Deol, Sooraj Barjatya, and Poonam Dhillon. Fans eagerly reacted to the trailer across YouTube and Instagram, expressing their excitement and anticipation for the film’s release.
Fans couldn’t contain their enthusiasm, with comments pouring in on various social media platforms. Many expressed their anticipation, while others praised the fresh and impressive look of the trailer. Commenting on YouTube, one fan said, “I am very excited.” Another eagerly wrote, “Can’t wait.” A supportive viewer commented, “Rajveer Deol is going to rule the industry in the coming times.”
In June, Sunny Deol shared the film’s first poster on Instagram, featuring Rajveer Deol and Paloma Dhillon. The poster depicted the duo sitting on the beach at dusk, gazing out towards the sea. Additionally, the movie’s title track was unveiled last month, with the original Rajshri couple, Salman Khan and Bhagyashree, introducing it. Salman and Bhagyashree had famously starred opposite each other in Sooraj Barjatya’s directorial debut, the 1989 romantic film “Maine Pyar Kiya.”
With the trailer now out, the excitement surrounding ‘Dono’ continues to build, and audiences eagerly await the film’s release on October 5, 2023.
