Doree 22nd December 2023 Written Update: Kailash Devi faces humiliation

The latest episode begins with Nani reassuring Ganga Prasad that everything will be alright. However, Ganga Prasad expresses his concerns about not being able to provide a good education for Doree. Just then, Satho arrives. Meanwhile, Doree takes Diya to Kailash Devi’s house. The priest praises Doree, and she tells Kailash Devi that Ganga Prasad considers her an understanding person. Doree admits that she made the wrong decision and clarifies that Ganga Prasad did not tear the saree. Ganga Prasad tries to stop her, but Anand intervenes, determined to teach her a lesson. He questions Doree’s authority to teach his mother about right and wrong.

Doree explains that she is trying to save Kailash Devi from making a wrong decision and emphasizes that Ganga Prasad shouldn’t be punished for someone else’s mistake. To prove her point, Doree shows them Vansh’s confession video. Kailash Devi asks Vansh who tore the saree if Ganga Prasad didn’t, and Vansh points to Komal. He reveals that he saw Komal tear the saree and even kept a piece of it as evidence. Kailash Devi confronts Komal and is about to slap her, but Thakurian stops her. Doree mentions that she had informed them that Ganga Prasad is skilled at stitching sarees and would never tear one. The priest acknowledges Doree’s truthfulness and declares her to be a symbol of prosperity in the house. Ganga Prasad expresses his gratitude to Doree for removing his problems.

Later, Kailash Devi scolds Vansh for hiding the truth from her and admits that she feels like a liar in front of everyone. She is about to slap him, but Ganga Prasad intervenes, asking her not to prolong the issue and cause pain to Vansh on Diwali. Kailash Devi instructs Anand to give money to the people in the Basti. Doree suggests celebrating Diwali that day, which Vansh does not appreciate. Ganga Prasad praises Doree, calling her his other hand, and expresses his pride in her. Nani hugs Doree, while Vansh steals her goat to seek revenge.

Meanwhile, Mansi offers to cook, but Kailash Devi questions her actions. Komal apologizes to Mansi for her mistake, but Kailash Devi blames Doree for her loss of respect. Yash defends Doree, referring to her as a symbol of prosperity, and confronts Kailash Devi about her biased opinion. Anand becomes nervous, and Kailash Devi accuses him of adding salt to her wound. Yash presents Kailash Devi with sweets, but warns her that her negative thoughts will make the sweet taste bitter. Mansi becomes emotional thinking about her daughter.

In another scene, Doree searches for her goat, but Vansh pushes her down and frightens her with firecrackers. Doree cries for help, but Vansh cruelly reminds her that he is not her real father and that her mother abandoned her. Mansi, who overhears the conversation, denies leaving her daughter and expresses her love for her. Vansh’s hurtful words deeply affect Doree, while Mansi blames herself for not being able to protect her daughter.
