Doree 18th December 2023 Written Update: Doree lands in a problem

The episode begins with Vansh telling Chakram that he wants to convince Doree to come out of her room. Chakram warns Vansh that Kailash Devi will be angry if she finds out the truth. Vansh suggests that if Doree smells food, she might come out. He loudly praises the taste of sweets, hoping Doree will be tempted. However, Doree believes he is deliberately trying to irritate her. She imagines eating rasgulla and drinks water to trick her mind into feeling full. Vansh then compliments the taste of golgappas, which excites Doree. However, she remembers her Nani’s warning and decides not to break any rules. Doree ties a towel around her belly to suppress her hunger. Meanwhile, Komal tries to comfort a crying baby.

Kailash Devi arrives to check on her grandson and proudly announces that she has stitched a dress for him. She adores him and asks Komal for advice on how to calm down the crying baby girl. Kailash Devi explains that girls are naturally fussy and make their parents cry. Komal suggests feeding the baby milk to soothe her, but Kailash Devi objects, fearing that her grandson will go hungry. She instructs Komal to bring the baby once she is dressed, as she doesn’t want to see the girl child. The servant takes the baby away, leaving her alone on the sofa. Hearing the baby’s cries, Doree assumes Vansh is behind it and goes to investigate. She realizes that someone has left the baby unattended and worries about the consequences if Kailash Devi finds out. Doree calls for help but doesn’t cross the line to intervene. She desperately wants to help, knowing that her father isn’t present. Meanwhile, Prem asks Ganga Prasad if Doree will like the dress he has made for her.

Satho hugs Ganga and asks about Doree. Ganga Prasad explains that Doree is missing everyone but is bound by Kailash Devi’s strict rules. Doree is not allowed to do anything that upsets Kailash Devi. Doree notices the baby on the verge of falling and rushes to save her, crossing the line in the process. She realizes she’s hungry and goes to the kitchen to feed the baby. In another scene, Anand spots Neelu in his house and reprimands her for frequently visiting. He worries about their secret relationship being exposed, especially with Doree around. Anand expresses his frustration with Doree, considering her an obstacle. Neelu advises him to stay calm and enjoy the situation, suggesting that they can take advantage of it. Back in the kitchen, Doree prays for forgiveness and decides not to drink the milk she brought for the baby. She believes the baby belongs to the family and sits on the empty big chair, feeding the baby.

Vansh notices Doree’s actions and calls everyone’s attention. Neelu and Anand observe as well. Neelu realizes that Doree has taken Kailash Devi’s place on the chair and warns Anand not to miss this opportunity. Vansh informs everyone that Doree is sitting on Kailash Devi’s chair. Raj questions Doree’s choice and warns her that their mom won’t spare her if she sees it. Just then, Kailash Devi arrives on the scene.

The episode ends.

In a separate scene, Anand slaps Ganga Prasad.
