Udaariyaan 17th December 2023 Written Update: Ekam is determined

The episode begins with Armaan rushing Aasmaa to the hospital. Aasmaa is in distress, unable to see anything. Armaan mentions that everything was fine in the morning and questions the doctor about her condition. Aasmaa informs the doctor that she used eye drops. The doctor assures her that the eye drops should not have any side effects. However, Armaan becomes furious and grabs the doctor, demanding answers about the medicine. Ekam intervenes and separates Armaan from the doctor. Rano pleads with the doctor to find a cure for Aasmaa. Meanwhile, Alia sends Raj and his mother home. Ekam asks the doctor what happened to Aasmaa and insists on knowing the truth. The doctor assures Ekam that the medicine should not have caused any harm and suggests conducting further tests to uncover the truth. Armaan mentions that the eye drops are at home.

Alia worries that her fingerprints may be on the eye drops and fears getting caught. She seeks solace in Ekam’s arms and reveals that Aasmaa is her sister, expressing her concern for her well-being. Ekam consoles her and assures her that he will not spare anyone responsible for Aasmaa’s condition. He decides to collect fingerprints to find the culprit. Armaan informs Ekam that he will go home to search for the eye drops and urges him to stay with Aasmaa. Armaan vows to not spare the person who harmed Aasmaa.

Meanwhile, Alia sneaks into Armaan’s room through the window and searches for the eye drops. However, she is unable to find them before Armaan arrives. Alia hides to avoid being seen as Armaan searches for the eye drops. Eventually, Armaan manages to find them and leaves. Back at the hospital, the doctor informs everyone that the tests are complete and assures Aasmaa that she should feel relieved after taking the medicine. Aasmaa anxiously asks the doctor to reveal the truth. Armaan arrives and hands the eye drops to the doctor. Ekam and Armaan accompany the doctor for the tests. The doctor confirms that the medicine is safe and did not cause any side effects. Armaan questions how this is possible, as something happened to his wife. The doctor explains that they are educated and even puts the eye drops in his own eyes as proof. Alia recalls how she switched the eye drops and realizes her plan has succeeded.

The doctor advises them to take care of Aasmaa and warns that if she doesn’t regain her vision within 24 hours, it will be difficult to cure her. Alia anxiously asks if Aasmaa will lose her vision. Armaan reassures her that Aasmaa will regain her vision. Later, Armaan tells Alia that she must pray to God that he doesn’t find out she is responsible for all of this. He vows to not let her go. Alia defends herself, stating that she is his daughter-in-law and shouldn’t be blamed for everything. Armaan remains firm in his belief and warns Alia that he knows her true intentions. Alia is confident that Armaan may know about her past but is unaware of her commitment to Raja and Aasmaa. Armaan takes Aasmaa to her room, while Alia is determined to kick her out of the room.
