Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti hoti hai 27th December 2023 Written Update: Suraj proposes to Kesar

The latest episode begins with Jayathi and Hetal engaged in a painting activity. Ridhi curiously asks them about the purpose behind their painting. Jayathi explains to Ridhi that there is a ritual that requires Kesar and Suraj to not look at each other, so they have placed a cloth between them.

Meanwhile, a Halwai (sweet maker) arrives at Rajgaur mansion. Leela questions the Halwai about who called him there. Ambica reveals that she was the one who invited him. Leela wonders why they didn’t call their family Halwai and instead chose this one. Ambica explains that their usual Halwai is getting older and is unable to handle a lot of work, so she decided to call this Halwai. She adds that Kabir recommended him. Leela becomes concerned about Kabir’s whereabouts.

In another scene, Kabir arrives in Kalpesh’s village and begins searching for his home.

Suraj compliments Kesar on the beautiful view, to which she blushes. Kesar asks Suraj what truth he wants to share with her. Suraj promises to reveal it after the photoshoot, and Kesar agrees.

Shakuntala obtains the wedding cards with Kabir and Kesar’s names on them. She believes that with these cards, it is guaranteed that Kabir and Kesar will get married.

After the photoshoot, Suraj leads Kesar with closed eyes to the temple. Once there, he gets down on one knee and proposes to her, expressing that his heart belongs to her. Suraj asks Kesar if she loves him, to which she initially responds with a “no.” However, she quickly changes her mind and confesses her love for Suraj. They both offer prayers to God.

Suraj attempts to apply sindhur (vermilion) on Kesar’s forehead, but she stops him. Meanwhile, Kabir and Jugni find Kalpesh and question him about whether Suraj was the one who paid him to send Tillu and his friend to London. Kalpesh remembers the warning issued by Suraj and tries to escape from Kabir and Jugni. Kabir chases after him.

Kesar insists that she belongs to Suraj, but they decide to perform this ritual in front of Ambica and the rest of the family. Suraj envisions himself getting angry at Kesar during the ritual but snaps out of his daydream and agrees to it. Kesar expresses her gratitude to Suraj for understanding her.

Ambica hopes that Kabir will return empty-handed. However, Kabir and Jugni manage to catch Kalpesh and make him confess that Suraj indeed gave him money to send Tillu and his friend to London.

Kabir receives a message from Ambica asking about his whereabouts. He replies that he is close to the truth, which worries Ambica.
