The wait is over! Shah Rukh Khan starts shooting for his new upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’

The news that everyone was waiting for has finally broken out. Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood has started shooting for his next film ‘Pathaan’ from Wednesday. Although the producer of the movie, Yash Raj Films, has not yet made any official announcement of the film nor Shah Rukh has made any statement regarding his new project. But, these two giants of Hindi films have already started working together in secret.

SRK fans have been waiting for more than a year now wondering when the Badshah of Bollywood will star again on the big screen. But it seems that the wait is set to be over as Shah Rukh has started shooting for the action-drama film Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, at the Yash Raj Films Studios located in Mumbai.

The initial schedule will be approximately two months long. Alongside Shah Rukh, the film will also star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. In the film, Deepika will be paired up with Shah Rukh while John Abraham will play the villain. John is currently working on his upcoming movie ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ in Lucknow under the direction of Milap Zaveri.

Currently, Deepika is busy with Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi in a romantic drama film directed by Shakun Batra. Although, the opening schedule of ‘Pathaan’ is expected to go on the floor as it consists of Shah Rukh alone. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone will join later for this film. The only reason that Shah Rukh didn’t reveal any information about the movie might be the long return to work as the star would not want to make noises around.

After 2018’s Zero, Shah Rukh Khan had completely disappeared from the big screen. Shah Rukh’s fans have been waiting for his next film ever since. Sources reveal that during the lockdown, Shah Rukh Khan was scripted by several big producers and directors for the films but Shah Rukh was more impressed by this story of Siddharth Anand, so he chose this film first. Shah Rukh has also signed the films of Rajkumar Hirani and South India’s hit director, Attlee.
