Shah Rukh Khan Was Sighted In Kashmir And Received A Warm Welcome As He Prepares To Film Dunki

Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly in Kashmir filming Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Videos of his triumphant arrival in Sonmarg have gone viral.

According to speculations, actor Shah Rukh Khan returned to Kashmir after a long absence to film his upcoming movie Dunki in Sonmarg. Shah Rukh Khan allegedly arrived in Kashmir on Monday to begin filming for Rajkumar Hirani‘s upcoming film. Shah Rukh last visited Kashmir to film the 2012 Yash Chopra film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. When the actor and his team arrived at a Sonmarg resort, he was greeted with bouquets of flowers and a white blanket.

On fan pages, there were clips of Shah Rukh arriving at the resort. In one of the recordings, the actor arrived with his team while the hotel employees guided them. In the video, the actor donned a black jacket and draped a shawl over his neck that was given to him by a hotel service member. In another video, he is seen stepping out of his automobile while surrounded by scores of people. Given that Shah Rukh is currently filming Dunki, many believe he is in Kashmir for the Rajkumar Hirani movie. According to certain sources, he would be shooting a song track for Dunki in Kashmir.

Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, marks Shah Rukh’s debut collaboration with the National Film Awards-winning director. Taapsee Pannu appears in the film as well. While attending the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia in December of last year, Shah Rukh attempted to explain the premise of the film and its title without giving too much away.

Shah Rukh revealed to The Deadline, “In English, the title of my film would be called Donkey, It’s Donkey. However, in some regions of India, a donkey is described as “Dunki.” The Punjabis call it a “dunki” instead of a “donkey.” How much more information can I give you about the story? One of our nation’s most accomplished directors, Mr Raju Hirani, directed the film. It was written by the excellent writer Abhijat Joshi. It’s narrative of those who yearn to return home… when you eventually hear the calling.”

In addition, the actor stated about Dunki, “It’s a comedy movie. Rajkumar Hirani’s films are usually filled with fun and sincere emotions about the country. So it’s a big journey film that travels through various parts of the world ultimately returning to India.”

Dunki is set for release in December. Shah Rukh was most recently seen in Pathaan. He will soon be seen in Atlee‘s next action thriller Jawan, opposite Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Sunil Grover.
