Doree 23rd December 2023 Written Update: Anand fears the worst

The episode begins with Vansh and his friends bullying Doree. Vansh taunts her, calling her a dirty person and saying that her mother left her because of it. Meanwhile, Mansi becomes emotional when she sees a mother and daughter drawing. She expresses her feelings, saying that if she were with her daughter, she would do everything with her. Vansh continues to insult Doree, mocking her for not having her father to protect her. However, Mansi feels a strong connection to Doree whenever she is around. She even tells her daughter not to be angry with her if she gives Doree a special place in her heart. Doree’s Diwali dress is ruined, but Mansi decides to give her own dress to Doree. She shares her sorrow with Doree, who recalls the advice given to her by Ganga Prasad. Doree confides in him, telling him that her parents abandoned her and that she feels unwanted. Ganga Prasad tells her that when he held her in his arms, he felt like he could do anything for her. He encourages her and reassures her that no one will love her as much as he does. Doree is determined to remember his words of love and support.

Doree finds her own motivation and stands up to Vansh, telling him that she is not a coward and that her father loves her immensely. She shuts him down and declares that she is a caring person, but definitely not a coward. Meanwhile, Mansi presents new clothes and dolls to Ganga Prasad, insisting that they are for Doree. He initially refuses, but Mansi convinces him that he has a good heart and is providing Doree with the love of a parent. Mansi considers Doree a true blessing. Doree confronts Vansh and gives him a fitting reply, causing him to become scared and fall down. Doree offers her hand to help him up, and he reluctantly accepts. She warns him not to forget this moment. Vansh threatens to leave her chunni (scarf) in the jungle next time, but Doree warns him back and walks away. Mansi informs Ganga Prasad that she has already brought clothes for Doree, and he questions why she did so if they don’t have a daughter. Mansi reveals that she gave birth to a daughter, but her husband threw the baby into the Ganga river due to his outdated beliefs. She shares her grief with Ganga Prasad, who is taken aback by the revelation. Anand overhears their conversation and worries that they might discover that Doree is his daughter. Mansi helps Ganga Prasad up when he faints, and Doree enters the scene wearing the dress Mansi got for her. Ganga Prasad thanks Mansi for the dress, and Mansi helps Doree with her hair. Ganga Prasad can’t help but notice that Doree looks like she comes from a wealthy family. Meanwhile, Vansh creates a scene and complains to Kailash Devi about Doree beating him. Kailash Devi scolds him, asking how he could let a girl beat him. On the other hand, Anand scolds Mansi for meeting Doree and expressing her affection towards her. Mansi admits that she feels like Doree is her own daughter.
