Chand Jalne Laga 19th December 2023 Written Update: Malik ties the knot with Tara

The latest episode of “Chand Jalne Laga” begins with Raunaq taunting Malik and questioning how he’s feeling now. Raunaq believes that he is the real lion in this situation. In response, Malik challenges Raunaq to untie his hands and prove who the real lion is. Raunaq proceeds to beat Malik, but Arjun intervenes and tells Raunaq that he shouldn’t harm Malik. Arjun reveals that he is Deva, Tara’s childhood friend, and suggests that they hand Malik over to the police instead. Raunaq reluctantly agrees and stops hurting Malik. Malik realizes that Deva is now serving Raunaq and understands why Raunaq despises him. Malik believes that even if he dresses well, his position as a servant won’t change.

Meanwhile, Tara is worried about Deva and fears that he might be getting hurt. As Raunaq continues to beat Malik, Malik fights back and urges Raunaq to kill him. Malik warns that if he manages to escape, no one will be able to save Raunaq from him. Tara hears Badsha’s sound, a person who has a connection with Deva. Arjun asks Soni about Tara’s whereabouts, and Soni lies, claiming that Tara is fine but in shock. Suddenly, they hear a noise, and Tara asks Badsha to take her to Deva.

Badsha leads Tara to Raunaq, and she questions him about Deva. Raunaq informs her that Deva is their servant and implies that she won’t be able to find him alive. However, Tara remains determined to find Deva. Arjun asks Raunaq what happened to Deva, and Raunaq reveals that Deva is dead and only exists in Tara’s memory. Tara pleads with Deva to respond and make a sound. Malik hears her pleas, breaks the wall, and emerges. Raunaq insists that Malik must die, but Tara reminds him that he will go to jail for his actions. Malik perceives that Tara saved him to protect her brother and accuses her of being selfish. Tara retorts that she broke off her engagement to save him and urges him to complete their wedding.

Soni questions Tara if she plans to marry a servant, to which Tara responds that Deva is not just a servant but her childhood friend. Tara decides to take the wedding vows and complete the marriage rituals. Deva asks her if she remembers their vows, and she affirms her commitment. However, Malik accuses Tara of putting on a show to reclaim her ancestral Haveli from him. He expresses his deep hatred towards Tara and vows not to forgive her. Despite his animosity, Tara remains undeterred and declares her readiness to marry him. Tara then takes Malik away and instructs the priest to proceed with the rituals.

The priest asks Tara to take the pheras, and she decides to take three pheras with Malik. This angers Malik, but Tara assures him that she will bring Deva back to life within him. If she fails to do so, she promises to end the relationship. As the pheras conclude, the priest instructs Malik to put the nuptial chain around Tara’s neck. He complies reluctantly. The priest then asks Malik to fill Tara’s hairline with vermilion to complete the wedding. Malik is skeptical and wants to see if Tara can truly change him with her lies. However, he eventually fills her hairline with vermilion and congratulates her.

In the upcoming episode, Soni will sever all ties with Tara.
