Jhanak 24th December 2023 Written Update: Anirudh gets fire on Jhanak

In this episode, Jhanak and Anirudh have a conversation where Anirudh asks Jhanak if she loves Rahul. He assumes that Jhanak had lied to him about Rahul’s feelings for her. However, it turns out that all of this was just a dream of Jhanak’s. Anirudh wakes up in the middle of the night and sees Jhanak standing outside his door. He asks her if she has something to say.

Although Anirudh feels guilty for shouting at Jhanak, he believes he had a reason to do so. He scolds her again for not studying properly and accuses her of planning to elope with Rahul. Anirudh interrogates Jhanak about her plans, leaving her confused by his behavior. He also brings up her mother, which angers Jhanak, and she tells him not to involve her mother in their argument.

Jhanak feels devastated as Anirudh is also misinterpreting her intentions. She wants to return to Kashmir. Anirudh brings up Jhanak’s alleged affair, which leaves her shocked as she doesn’t have one. He asks her to leave the place, and in the midst of their argument, Anirudh’s mother arrives and interrogates Jhanak about her intentions. She insults Jhanak and forbids Anirudh from talking to her, telling him not to trust Jhanak. Jhanak tries to explain that she has no bad intentions and is grateful to the Mukherjee family, but she angrily leaves the place.

Meanwhile, in Kashmir, Tejas orders a man to go to Kolkata and search for Jhanak as he believes she has eloped with Anirudh. He wants to track Jhanak’s location. Later, the man is confronted by other villagers who ask if he has been sent to inform them about Jhanak.

In Kolkata, Jhanak is asked to tell a story to Apu. Choton enters the room and asks Jhanak if she really intends to leave their house. Jhanak confirms that she will leave and Choton pleads with her not to go, but she feels she has no other choice.

The next morning, the Mukherjee family plans to celebrate Arshi’s birthday with a grand surprise. Jhanak is aware that she has to leave the house on the 26th and promises to pack her belongings. She realizes that tomorrow is her own birthday, but there is no one to wish her.

The episode ends with a precap where the Mukherjee family is seen wishing Arshi a happy birthday, but Anirudh is nowhere to be found.
