Rabb Se Hai Dua 18th December 2023 Written Update: Dua feels heartbroken

The episode begins with Gazal purposely blurring the vision of the CCTV camera. She turns on the washing machine, thinking that they installed the camera to spy on her. Now they won’t be able to see or hear her. Gazal calls the doctor but can’t hear her clearly due to background noise. She lies to the doctor, claiming to be Dua, and requests an appointment for IVF treatment tomorrow. Gazal mentions that preparations for Kaynaat’s wedding are underway in the house. The doctor congratulates her and assures her that she will make the appointment. Gazal believes that they are trying hard to kick her out of the house, but she won’t let them. Dua hasn’t been able to give an heir to the family yet, but Gazal is determined to be the first. Meanwhile, Dua is examining her reports when Haider notices her lost in thought. Haider advises her to smile and not feel sad. Dua explains that she feels uncomfortable and has been trying to conceive through treatment, but their dream hasn’t come true yet. Haider comforts her and kisses her forehead.

Haider expresses his love for Dua and assures her that God will fulfill their desire. He wipes away her tears. Dua expresses her fear of Gazal and her constant plotting against them. Haider tells her not to worry and focuses on their baby instead. He believes that everything will be fine when they smile and play with their child. Dua decides not to postpone the IVF treatment and plans to book the appointment the next day. Haider promises to take her to the doctor at the right time. Gazal, on the other hand, thinks that Dua and Haider will be occupied with Kaynaat’s wedding the next day, so she plans to have her IVF treatment then. Dua calls the doctor to inquire if she changed her number. The doctor asks Dua to forget about it and confirms the appointment for the next day at 11 am. Dua asks about the unknown call, but the doctor hangs up. Dua wonders who called her and suspects Haider, but she doesn’t have his number.

Dua prays to God for a baby to fulfill her husband’s wish. She doesn’t desire anything else. Meanwhile, Gazal prays for a baby as well, believing it will give her everything she wants in the house and protect her. The next day, relatives arrive at the Akhthar’s mansion for the Haldi ceremony. Ruhan checks the decorations while Haider and Dua give clothes to Hameeda to wear. Hameeda reveals that she stopped wearing colorful clothes after her husband passed away and prefers to stick to one color now. Haider understands her sentiments but encourages her to make a small change for her children’s sake. He assures her that she will look like a heroine in the colorful dress. However, Hameeda insists on wearing the same dress as always, ignoring Dua’s advice.

Kaynaat and Hafeez arrive, and Kaynaat talks to Hameeda, urging her to forget the past and enjoy the present moment. She asks Hameeda to wear the colorful dress for her sake and wishes to see her in it on this special occasion. Hameeda agrees, much to Dua’s dismay. Dua complains that Hameeda listens to Kaynaat more than her. Hameeda, however, sees through their plan and warns them to leave or else she will change her decision. Meanwhile, Gazal takes advantage of the busy Haldi ceremony and plans her own scheme. Hina asks Gazal to wear a dress and attend the function, but Gazal refuses, citing Dua’s brother’s wedding as the reason. Hina insists, reminding Gazal that it’s also Kaynaat’s wedding. Dua objects, stating that the dress should be hers, not Gazal’s, but Hina reminds her that she signed the divorce papers. Dua realizes that she must endure it all to make Hina believe their act. Gazal plans to cause them more pain and surprise them. Hina takes Gazal away, leaving Dua feeling unloved and longing for Hina’s affection as before. She breaks down in tears.
