Virat and Anushka announce their newborn
The wait is finally over for all Virushka fans as the dynamic duo revealed that the couple has been blessed with a baby girl. Kohli reached out to Twitter to announce the big news to fans worldwide.
Anushka Sharma gave birth to the baby girl at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on January 11th, 2021.
Expressing his delight on Twitter, Kohli wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we’ve been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat (sic).”
Virushka had announced the pregnancy all the way back in August 2020, and the couple had announced back then that their baby would be expected to arrive in January, which just happened to be the case.
Virat and Anushka’s baby happens to be in the category of babies titled “Coronials” as these were babies conceived during the Coronavirus lockdown period.
Earlier, Sharma had announced that she will resume movies from May 2021 and her Husband, the Captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli will be joining his team in locking horns with the Aussies down under in the concurrent series.
