‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ shooting postponed as Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor test COVID-19 positive

Several Bollywood stars have been infected by the coronavirus until now. Due to the pandemic, shootings in Mumbai were halted for more than three months. After this lengthy halt, the shootings were resumed in accordance with the rules issued by the government. Unfortunately, in the meantime, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and director Raj Mehta all have contracted COVID-19.

According to a report, these famous actors were shooting for the film ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ in Chandigarh. A source close to the film informed a website that Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ director Raj Mehta all have been tested positive for the deadly virus. After this incident, the shooting of the film has been stopped and postponed.

As of now, there is no official confirmation from these stars. The website claimed that a source very close to the set gave them this inside information. The shooting of the film had began in early November. Further shooting of the movie has been postponed until these actors recover.

Recently, a short video of actress Neetu Kapoor surfaced on social media in which she was undergoing the COVID-19 test. Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus infection, Bollywood and TV stars have been encouraging their fans to follow all necessary guidelines. The technical crew members, spot boys of films are also seen wearing PPE suits, masks, and gloves on the set. Neetu Kapoor also shared a picture through her official Instagram account in which she was seen alongside Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and YouTuber Prajakta Koli. As the news of these artists surfaced in contracting the COVID-19 infection, everyone is praying for their speedy recovery at the moment.
