Neha Dhupia Eager to Return to Work: Balancing Work and Motherhood with Enthusiasm
After a hiatus to care for her children, Neha Dhupia is set to return to work, already engaged in two projects. The actor, known for her work in “A Thursday” and “Good Morning,” shares her enthusiasm for the upcoming film with Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri, set to release in February, as well as a web show scheduled for early next year’s premiere.
Reflecting on the unintentional break from work, Dhupia clarifies, “The absence from work was not an intentional decision. I worked through my pregnancy, particularly during Guriq’s period. And then there weren’t many offers at all. I will not lie about it. That also comes with people believing that I am taking a break from work to spend time with my family, which is not wrong.
She acknowledges the challenges of balancing her personal and professional life, expressing, “I know I will strike a balance between my personal and professional lives, but it comes with a crisis of mum guilt. It bothers me a lot. The desire to return to work is constantly present, as is the realization that when you are at home, you can spend all of your time with your children. And there’s always a part of you that wants to return to your children. That is a significant challenge, and I will have to learn how to overcome it.”
Dhupia is optimistic about the changing landscape of offers, noting, “The offers that have come my way have changed dramatically, and I am confident that this will continue.” She expresses satisfaction with the evolving opportunities, recognizing the transformation-like projects that are coming her way. As a mother navigating the realms of work and personal life, she feels more settled and confident, ready to overcome challenges and strike a balance between her roles as an actor and a mother.
