Ikk Kudi Punjab Di 23rd December 2023 Written Update: Heer’s first day at Atwal Mansion

The episode begins with Heer and Kuldeep arriving at the Atwal mansion after their marriage. Teji performs a ritual to welcome them and protect them from evil eyes. Teji tells Heer that she can now enter the house as it is her home too. Heer asks Kuldeep for permission to plant the soil she brought from her house in a corner of the mansion. Kuldeep instructs a servant to bring a plant pot, and Heer fills it with the soil, expressing her gratitude to him for understanding her emotions. Rajwinder, however, believes that this happiness will not last for more than ten days, while Jarnail stares at Heer intently.

Beant Singh becomes emotional and misses Heer, while Navjot is satisfied that Kuldeep is a good person. Beant mentions that Rajwinder has taken away their source of income by confiscating their land as dowry. Gurmeet tells Beant that the land belonged to him, so why did he give it away. Beant questions whether the land is more important than Heer’s happiness. Gurmeet blames Beant for always treating him unfairly. Jasmin tries to calm Gurmeet down, but he continues to shout. Jasmin tearfully says that it feels like the house has become weak since Heer left. Teji leads Heer to her room, where Heer is surprised to see her family photo frames displayed on the wall.

Teji asks Heer to freshen up and join the others downstairs for the rituals. Kuldeep expresses his disbelief that all of this is really happening and that Heer is now Heer Kuldeep Atwal. He reveals that he has a special surprise for her. Beant Singh names the haveli after Gurmeet, hurt by his accusations. Gurmeet takes the paper and leaves. Jasmin and Navjot sit beside Beant Singh and cry. The ritual of distributing gifts from the bride’s family takes place, and Rajwinder taunts Heer about the small number of gifts. When Heer gifts Rajwinder, Rajwinder asks if it was bought on sale by Navjot.

Heer admits that she cannot find the money envelopes given by Navjot. Rajwinder taunts her again, but Teji consoles her, saying that love is all that matters. When Heer gifts Jarnail, he refuses to accept it, claiming that he doesn’t wear local clothes. He even taunts Teji when she tries to cheer Heer up. Teji compliments Heer’s gift and says that she feels like she has gained a sister. Sunny and Simran ask Heer to teach them at home, and Heer shows them a pendrive where she has saved all the study materials. Jarnail pulls Sunny aside and angrily tells him to focus on his work.

Sunny, scared, stutters and says that he has to practice for a dance. Teji arrives and saves him from being forced by Jarnail. However, Jarnail also speaks rudely to Teji, and Heer overhears their conversation. Jarnail goes to meet an unconscious Ranjha and declares that he will harm him severely, instructing his goons to start. Jarnail also states that it will be Heer’s last night. Later, he searches Heer’s luggage to find the pendrive and locks Heer inside the bathroom. Teji comes to her rescue. The episode ends with Teji calming Heer down and telling her to get ready for the reception.
