Adah Sharma Joins Sunflower Season 2: A Thrilling Addition to the Hit Comedic Thriller
After a stellar year with the success of “The Kerala Story,” Adah Sharma is all set to continue her winning streak as she joins the cast of the second season of the comedic thriller, Sunflower. The versatile actor is thrilled about her role and the opportunity to explore the humorous genre alongside Sunil Grover.
Adah Sharma expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Entering this universe was both a blessing and a challenge. I cannot wait for everyone to see my character. She is really distinct and creepy. You will love her one minute and then be terrified of her the next. She’s unpredictable.”
Playing the lead opposite Sunil Grover in the Vikas Bahl-directed series, Adah shared insights into her character, emphasising its complexity and the element of surprise it brings. Speaking about her decision to join the project, she explained, “I had already done drama with ‘The Kerala Story’ and action with the ‘Commando’ franchise, so I thought I’d try my hand at humour. I speak in Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, and English in the show, and I hope the audience has a great time.”
Acknowledging the expectations that come with sequels and subsequent seasons, Adah Sharma embraces the challenge, stating, “The audience has been wonderful to me since my debut. I believe that expectations motivate people to be better than average. The show’s characters are so complex that it was thrilling for me to unleash my inner craziness.”
