Hrithik Roshan will have to appear in front of the Crime Branch’s Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) to tape the testimony. Let us inform you that, in 2016, Hrithik complained about receiving hundreds of absurd emails through Kangana’s email account. Presently, the investigation of the case is underway.
A few days ago, this case was transferred from the Cyber Cell to the Crime Intelligence Unit(CIU). Hrithik Roshan alleges that between 2013 and 2014, hundreds of emails were received by him. The information about transferring the case to CIU was provided by the Mumbai Police itself.
According to the reports, Hrithik Roshan’s lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani wrote a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner to get the case transferred, after which this decision was taken. In the letter, Mahesh Jethmalani claimed that since 2016, the Cyber Cell has been unable to make significant advancements in the Hrithik-Kangana case. To fast-track the investigation, the case should be transferred to the Crime Intelligence Unit, the lawyer requested. At the same time, the lawyer also said that the actor is willing to co-operate fully whenever required. In 2016, a dispute was raised between Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut after which both the actors sent legal notices to each other.
