Imlie 22nd December 2023 Written Update: Imlie falls for Agastya

The episode begins with Imlie staring at Agastya and feeling something special for him. Agastya asks Imlie if she will sleep or not. Imlie starts thinking again and can’t fall asleep. She tells herself that she will be in the hands of Radha Rani.

The next morning, Imlie hears Amma ji calling everyone because it’s Shivani’s mehndi ceremony. She goes to wake up Agastya and sees him fast asleep.

Agastya holds Imlie’s hand and her heart starts beating faster. Imlie gets confused and wonders what is happening to her. Agastya wakes up when he hears Imlie’s voice. Imlie starts babbling and Agastya asks her what she is saying. Imlie tells Agastya that Amma ji is calling everyone for Shivani’s mehndi ceremony. She then runs off to inform Agastya.

Imlie helps Shivani choose a dress for her mehndi ceremony. Imlie asks Shivani if she loves Avi. Shivani says she does, which is why she’s getting married to him. Shivani tells Imlie that she loves her like she loves Agastya. Imlie asks Shivani what happens when someone falls in love. Shivani explains that the heart beats faster when your loved one touches you and you see heart bubbles around. Imlie starts thinking again.

Imlie sees Agastya decorating for the mehndi ceremony. She remembers what Shivani told her about love and wants to touch Agastya. She tries to touch him, but Agastya walks away. Imlie starts feeling something special about Agastya again and imagines him singing the DDLJ song in SRK style, with her singing along in Kajol style. Agastya sings that she has fallen in love with him and can’t deny it. He then asks Imlie to help him decorate the house and pass the flowers. Accidentally, Agastya touches Imlie’s hand. Her heart beats faster and she sees heart bubbles around her. Imlie starts babbling again. Agastya tells her that he will take her to the doctor for a check-up.

Meanwhile, Biswa thinks about what Amrit told him regarding Agastya and Imlie’s fake contractual marriage. Biswa looks at the agreement papers and wonders why Agastya was willing to sacrifice his life for Imlie in a fake marriage. He decides to take advantage of Imlie’s love for Agastya and throw her out of the house.

The mehndi ceremony begins. Imlie starts serving juice to the guests. She fills a glass for Rajni, but accidentally overfills it. Sonali tells Imlie that she has overfilled the glass and looks at her strangely. Imlie tells Shivani that she looks beautiful. Shivani asks the mehndi artist to apply mehndi on Imlie’s hand. Amma ji also asks the artist to apply bridal mehndi on Imlie’s hands.

Pandit ji asks Meera how long she will wait outside the house. He offers prashad to Meera. Meera notices the masked killer entering the house and gets worried. Biswa stares at Imlie, and Avi tells him not to stare or Agastya will get angry.

Meera decides to enter Chaudhary’s mansion to save Agastya. Jugnu stops her and asks where she is going. Meera points out that she is from the catering team, and Jugnu allows her to enter. Alka and Amma ji discuss clothes, and Meera passes by them. Alka stops Meera and asks who she is. Meera turns around, and Alka notices a sign on her neck and tries to remember. She asks Meera to remove her ghoonghat, but Agastya arrives and tells Alka that he knows this aunty. He thanks Meera for helping him find Imlie.

The masked killer is in the house and stares at Imlie. The makeup artist writes Agastya’s name on Imlie’s hand. Imlie asks why the artist wrote Agastya’s name, and she explains that Amma ji told her to apply bridal mehndi. Sonali tells Imlie that it’s just a name and asks why she’s worried. Imlie walks and bumps into Agastya. He removes the mehndi from her hair. Imlie’s heart starts beating faster, and she sees heart bubbles around her. She walks away, and Agastya wonders why she’s behaving strangely. He wants to find out what Imlie is thinking.

Precap: Agastya and Imlie tear up the agreement papers. Imlie asks Agastya for a breakup party, but Agastya decides to propose to her. However, Imlie gives him a wedding card. Imlie then holds Biswa’s hand.
