Jhanak 21st December 2023 Written Update: Anirudh takes the side of Jhanak

In the latest episode, a new drama unfolds in Anirudh’s house. Apu enters Jhanak’s room and presents a red saree, which turns out to be Jhanak’s wedding saree. This surprises everyone, and Arshi questions where she got the saree and the sindur. The other women in the house join in, eager to know the truth. Jhanak is taken aback by the questions and reminisces about her marriage to Anirudh.

Meanwhile, Shrishti arrives at Anirudh’s house and notices the worried expressions on everyone’s faces. Vinayak tries to hide the situation from Shrishti, but Arshi wonders why Jhanak would keep the saree in her cupboard if she had no intention of wearing it. Anirudh tries to divert the conversation, but the questions keep coming. They suspect that Tejas gave Jhanak the saree, but she ran away with it.

Arshi insists that they won’t stop questioning until they get answers. Anirudh and Vinayak fail to understand why they are meddling in Jhanak’s personal matters. Anirudh is advised not to show sympathy in every situation. Shrishti suggests that Jhanak should be sent back to her, but Anirudh refuses to hand over the responsibility to anyone else. Arshi is puzzled as to why Anirudh is taking responsibility for Jhanak when they are not even friends.

With no clue about the origin of the saree and vermilion, Shrishti brings up Jhanak’s mother. Jhanak firmly asserts that the items belong to her, but Shrishti insults her by mentioning her mother. Jhanak protests and holds up a mirror to show them their true faces. She questions why they treat her with disdain instead of showing love and warmth. Despite being an orphan, Jhanak does not deserve such treatment. She also clarifies that she didn’t come there willingly. Anirudh supports Jhanak and explains why Urvashi remained silent. Without any evidence against Urvashi, they shouldn’t accuse her. He silences Shrishti, as her words hurt deeply.

Arshi questions Anirudh’s sympathy, and Jhanak finally admits that someone else gave her the saree and vermilion.

In the next episode, Jhanak will be hesitant to reveal the truth to Arshi and Shrishti, but Arshi will insist on knowing the story behind the saree and vermilion.
