Yeh Hai Chahatein 9th December 2023 Written Update: Kaashvi rejects Aditya’s proposal

In the latest episode, Aditya compliments Kaashvi on her beautiful saree. Kaashvi reminds him that he has already complimented her. Aditya playfully asks her to compliment him in return. Kaashvi complies and then Aditya challenges her to guess what he is wearing with her eyes closed. Unfortunately, Kaashvi gets it all wrong. She later realizes that she mistakenly described Arjun’s outfit to Aditya. This realization prompts her to decide to move on from her feelings for Arjun, as she believes he has already moved on.

Meanwhile, Arjun starts feeling dizzy and wonders what is happening to him. He spots Kaashvi and realizes that he has been waiting for the right time to confess his love to her, but he never actually did it. Determined to reveal his feelings, Arjun contemplates the possibility of rejection. He considers telling Kaashvi the truth about his marriage to Mahima due to her pregnancy and the fact that he never had any physical relationship with her in the past five years.

Aditya, on the other hand, gathers the courage to express his feelings to Kaashvi. He goes down on one knee and shocks Kaashvi with his confession. However, Arjun is also present and feels devastated that someone else has taken his place in Kaashvi’s heart. He believes he is once again too late and leaves the scene.

Kaashvi, taken aback by Aditya’s proposal, tells him that she cannot marry him. She values their friendship and does not want to ruin it. She apologizes for giving him the wrong impression and clarifies that she does not love him. Kaashvi confesses that she is still not over her past and cannot love anyone else at the moment. She believes she is not the right person for Aditya and hopes that their friendship remains unaffected.

In another conversation, Mahima encourages Kaashvi to move on from Aditya. However, Arjun cannot bear the thought of seeing Kaashvi with someone else and isolates himself on the terrace. Kaashvi follows him, unaware that a waiter witnesses their interaction. Meanwhile, Mahima informs Vishal that Arjun has left the event. Aditya regrets his decision to propose to Kaashvi.

The episode ends with a precap where Arjun tells Kaashvi that he wants to fall down. Aditya, sensing that Kaashvi is hiding something, questions himself about her behavior.
