In this episode, Aditya questions Kaashvi about how Simran was killed when she was inside the cupboard and no one entered the room. Arjun joins the conversation and reveals that Simran died from inhaling toxic gas. He presents the forensic report as evidence. Kaashvi mentions that they also had difficulty breathing due to the incense sticks. Arjun informs her that he sent the incense sticks for testing and they were found to contain toxic substances. Kaashvi asks if he has interrogated the Nurse, to which he replies that a woman gave the incense sticks to the Nurse. Aditya suggests checking the CCTV footage of the hospital and they head there.
Meanwhile, Romila asks Mahima if Arjun has said anything. Mahima tells her not to worry and reminds her that Romila disguised herself and avoided the CCTV cameras. Romila confesses that she forgot about the cameras because she was nervous. Mahima scolds her and Romila expresses her fear of Micky hating her and the police arresting her if they find out she killed Simran. Mahima advises her to face the consequences and Romila threatens to expose her if she gets caught. Mahima urges her to stay calm and promises to find a solution.
Aditya asks Kaashvi if she plans to tell her ex-husband about their child. Kaashvi reveals that she won’t because he never loved her and betrayed her, adding that he doesn’t even know about her pregnancy. She decides to raise her son alone. Aditya keeps his knowledge of Arjun being her ex-husband to himself and assures her that he will help her find her child. He drops her off at the hospital and leaves.
Later, Arjun and Kaashvi review the CCTV footage and notice Romila’s tattooed hand. They suspect Romila’s involvement in trying to separate Micky and Simran. However, Arjun believes that Romila may not be the one who killed Simran.
Kaashvi and Arjun arrive at Arjun’s house. Arjun asks Kaashvi to wait in the car while he goes inside. Karun spots Kaashvi and introduces her to his mother. Mahima sees them and becomes worried. Kaashvi informs Karun that she needs to leave and heads to Arjun’s house. Mahima takes Karun to get ice cream.
Kaashvi confronts Romila about whether she went to the city hospital. Romila denies it and accuses Kaashvi of treating her like a criminal.
The episode ends with a preview of Kaashvi telling Geetika that she believes Geetika has taken her child away from her.
