Yeh Hai Chahatein 20th December 2023 Written Update: Kaashvi identifies Geetika

Romila lies to Kaashvi, claiming that she was at home all day because Micky was heartbroken. However, Kaashvi insists that Romila went to the city hospital. Confused, Romila asks why they are behaving this way. Kaashvi challenges Romila to show her hand as proof of her innocence. Mahima arrives and asks what is going on. Romila explains that Kaashvi is interrogating her, but she herself doesn’t know what happened. Kaashvi reveals that Simran died from inhaling toxic gas and wants to check Romila’s hand.

Upon inspecting Romila’s hand, Kaashvi discovers a burn mark. Mahima explains that Romila spilled hot tea on her hand five days ago, causing the mark. She defends Romila, stating that she is not a criminal who would kill Simran. Mahima warns Arjun not to accuse Romila again.

Feeling guilty, Arjun apologizes to Romila for suspecting her. Mahima advises him to focus on his family and not dig deeper into this matter. Arjun tells her not to bring up the issue again. Kaashvi justifies her actions to Romila, stating that she was only doing her job. Romila understands and thanks Mahima. Kaashvi leaves, and Arjun follows her.

Romila feels relieved and expresses her gratitude to Mahima. Mahima remembers bribing the security guard to watch CCTV footage from the hospital. She is relieved to see that Romila’s face is not visible in the footage. Later, the security guard informs Mahima about Romila’s tattoo. Mahima tells Romila that Kaashvi and Arjun saw her tattoo. Panicking, Romila says she doesn’t want to go to jail. Mahima tells her to calm down and decides they need to remove the tattoo. She uses a liquid to remove it, causing Romila immense pain. Mahima assures Romila that Kaashvi won’t find out who killed Simran and that Karun is her son.

Kaashvi tells Aditya that she hasn’t found Simran’s killer or her missing child. She is at a loss for what to do next. Aditya suggests that they try to get information from Simran’s family, now that Geetika and Harman have been released.

Kaashvi witnesses Geetika assisting a pregnant woman in delivery and realizes that Geetika used to work at the city hospital. She recalls that Geetika was her doctor and believes she might have information about her missing child. Kaashvi chases after Geetika, catching up to her and demanding answers. Harman arrives in his car, and Geetika takes the opportunity to escape by getting into his vehicle. Kaashvi pleads with Aditya to catch Geetika, as she believes Geetika knows about her child.

Mahima answers Geetika’s call and discovers that Kaashvi has recognized her. Geetika informs Mahima that Kaashvi knows her child is alive.
