Jhanak 26th December 2023 Written Update: Ami secretly gives Jhanak the birthday gift

The episode begins with a conversation between Anirudh and Jhanak. Although Anirudh wishes Jhanak a happy birthday, she seems unhappy because she believes she doesn’t have any well-wishers in this world. Jhanak asks Anirudh to celebrate Arshi’s birthday instead, as everyone is waiting for him to do so. When Anirudh approaches Arshi, she questions why someone called Jhanak so late at night, but Anirudh remains silent. They continue with their own celebrations.

Meanwhile, Apu asks Jhanak for a piece of cake, but no one gives her any. The elders instruct Jhanak to give it to her later, but Apu starts complaining. Jhanak takes Apu to another room. Arshi starts distributing the cake to Badoma and Dada. However, she forgets to save a piece for Jhanak. Later, Anirudh shares his cake with Jhanak, but Arshi doesn’t allow him to do so. In the end, Arshi shares her own cake with Jhanak. Arshi scolds Jhanak for receiving a late-night call on Anirudh’s phone and forbids her from using the phone late at night.

Jhanak defends herself and denies giving her phone number to anyone. She promises not to use the phone anymore. Arshi reminds Jhanak that she has to go to their house tomorrow, which irritates Jhanak as she feels dragged around without her consent. After Jhanak leaves, Arshi feels insulted and plans to punish her.

In the next scene, Jhanak prepares food for the guests and reminisces about her time in Kashmir and memories of her mother. Badima understands her pain and allows Jhanak to call her “Badima.” They discuss Apu, and Jhanak expresses gratitude towards Badima for showing her love.

Meanwhile, Apu arrives and wants to taste the food for the first time. Jhanak gives her a small portion to try, despite Apu’s mother forbidding it. Anirudh’s mother arrives and scolds Jhanak for giving Apu the food. She becomes annoyed with Jhanak’s behavior and insults Apu for her large appetite. Badima is also insulted by Anirudh’s mother. Anirudh arrives and resolves the situation. Apu’s food plate is taken away by her mother, and Jhanak questions the evil lady’s motherhood.

The episode ends.
