Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd December 2023 Written Update: Manish supports Abhira

In today’s episode, Kaveri expresses her dissatisfaction with Abhira’s choice of attire. Abhira explains that she wasn’t comfortable wearing the saree Kaveri had given her. Kaveri accuses Abhira of constantly demeaning her and criticizes her for wearing a strange dress. Abhira clarifies that the dress actually belongs to Akshara. Arman and Akshara come to Abhira’s defense, pointing out that if they can follow Rajasthani rituals, Abhira should be allowed to follow Himachali rituals. Madhav steps in to support Arman and Abhira.

Kaveri and Vidya warmly welcome the Goenkas. Abhira expresses her gratitude to Arman for standing up for her in front of Kaveri. She questions Arman about why he asked her to introduce the guests when she will be leaving soon. Arman explains that he can’t walk alone at his own reception. Abhira then asks Arman to tell her about his girlfriend, to which Arman excuses himself.

Arman reminisces about Ruhi. She asks him why he is so afraid of the Poddars. Ruhi gets close to Arman and asks for his opinion on her appearance. Arman hesitates to answer, but Ruhi reassures him that he looks handsome. She even tries to apply kajal on his face, but their interaction is spotted by Swarna, leaving Arman stunned.

Kiara and Charu compliment Abhira, while Kajal thanks Sanjay for attending the party. Sanjay expresses his intention of showing his face to Kaveri and leaving. Surekha asks Kajal if everything is alright, but Kajal lies to her. Sanjay notices Manish and becomes angry.

Kiara, Charu, Aryan, and Krish request Abhira, Arman, Rohit, and Ruhi to dance. Ruhi believes that Arman and Abhira make a perfect pair. They all dance together, but Ruhi accidentally bumps into a chair. Both Arman and Rohit are concerned about her, but Arman ends up helping her. However, Ruhi refuses Rohit’s assistance.

Swarna suggests that Ruhi should live separately with Rohit, but Ruhi insists that Rohit can’t live without his family. Swarna argues that Ruhi can’t live without Arman and refuses to go with Rohit. This realization leaves Rohit devastated as he understands that Ruhi loves someone else. Ruhi and Swarna also discover that someone overheard their conversation.

Rohit decides to go alone, but Arman urges him to share his feelings. Rohit keeps the truth about Ruhi’s love for someone else to himself. Meanwhile, Manish recalls Akshara through Abhira’s presence. Abhira goes looking for Arman, while Sanjay and senior lawyers discuss a case. Abhira interrupts their conversation, leading Sanjay to speak rudely to her. Manish comes to Abhira’s defense, which angers Sanjay. Abhira asks Sanjay to stop insulting Manish, but he continues to behave disrespectfully. Ruhi tells Abhira to stop referring to Manish as her grandfather, leaving Abhira stunned. – Episode Ends
