In a heartwarming announcement on social media, actors Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur shared the joyous news of the birth of their son. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the couple penned a heartfelt note expressing their happiness and love as they welcomed their newborn into the world.
The personalised message, accompanied by a sweet photograph, read, “07.02.2024 For we have become one. We are bursting with joy and love to announce the arrival of our son. Love, Sheetal and Vikrant.” The post was captioned with a folded hands emoji, symbolising gratitude and humility.

The journey to parenthood for Vikrant and Sheetal began with the announcement of Sheetal’s pregnancy in September of the previous year. Vikrant creatively shared the news on Instagram, featuring a wedding shot and a creative image hinting at the new addition to their family.
Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur, who had been in a long-term relationship, tied the knot in a civil ceremony on February 14, 2022, followed by a traditional celebration in Himachal Pradesh on February 18, 2022. The couple, known for their appearance in the online series “Broken but Beautiful,” got engaged in a low-key Roka ceremony in 2019, with wedding plans initially delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Vikrant Massey’s recent film, “12th Fail,” directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, received acclaim. Based on Anurag Pathak’s book, the movie depicts the inspiring journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who rose from poverty to become an Indian Police Service officer. Vikrant played the role of Manoj, with Medha Shankar portraying Shraddha Joshi, an IRS official and an instrumental figure in his success.
Looking ahead, Vikrant Massey is set to star in “The Sabarmati Report” alongside Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. Directed by Ranjan Chandel, the film is scheduled for release on May 3, presented by Balaji Motion Pictures.
