Yeh Hai Chahatein 22nd December 2023 Written Update: Kaashvi finds her son

In the latest episode, Aditya checks on Kaashvi and asks her if she’s okay. Kaashvi reveals that she’s not fine and explains that she came to search for her child. She’s unsure about what to do next and shares her dilemma with Aditya. He reassures her that as a mother, she has the strength to do anything. Arjun observes their conversation and realizes that Kaashvi seems better after talking to Aditya.

Later, Arjun confides in Jagdish and tells him that Kaashvi was searching for a child in the red light area. Jagdish is curious about the child she’s looking for, and Arjun explains that Kaashvi wants to adopt a child. Arjun promises to assist her in the adoption process. Jagdish suggests that Kaashvi needs a life partner to support her. He urges Arjun to find a suitable partner for Kaashvi, as she is still alone while Arjun has moved on.

The next day, Aditya informs Kaashvi that her wait is finally over. He reveals that another lady gave birth to a baby on the same day at the city hospital. Kaashvi is shocked by this revelation and finds it hard to believe. She goes to a school and encounters Mahira’s son, Neil. Kaashvi, thinking Neil might be her son, reaches out to hug him with her eyes closed.

Karun witnesses this and embraces Kaashvi, assuming that she is hugging her own son. He asks if she is okay, and when she opens her eyes, she sees Karun instead of Neil. Karun explains that he hugged her because Neil doesn’t like hugs, so she wouldn’t be disappointed. He asks if she knows Neil, to which she replies that she came to him like Santa Claus and offers him a chocolate. However, Neil confesses that he doesn’t like chocolate, so Karun takes it from Kaashvi.

Kaashvi offers Neil a ride, but he refuses, citing that he doesn’t go with strangers. Karun vouches for Kaashvi’s character and assures Neil that she is a good person. He decides to accompany Neil and Kaashvi. Grateful for his support, Kaashvi expresses her thanks to Karun.

Meanwhile, Mahima wonders if Kaashvi has met Pratibha, recalling how she manipulated the hospital records by bribing the staff.

As Kaashvi spends time with Neil, she ponders whether he resembles her or Arjun. Karun makes Neil laugh, and Kaashvi finds herself growing fond of Karun. Eventually, Neil asks Kaashvi to stop the car, and both Karun and Neil get out. Karun bids farewell to Kaashvi and runs away. Kaashvi hopes that Neil will accept her as his mother. Karun informs Mahima about Kaashvi and Neil, and Mahima believes that her plan has succeeded. She takes advantage of Karun by using him to buy a new saree.

The episode concludes with Mahima revealing to Mahira that she told Kaashvi that Neil is her son.
