Yeh Hai Chahatein 23rd December 2023 Written Update: Arjun understands Mahima’s motive

Kaashvi expresses her gratitude to God at the temple and apologizes for scolding Him earlier. She is thankful to have met Neil and shares her happiness with Aditya. Kaashvi feels like she finally has a purpose in life after meeting Neil. Aditya is pleased to see her happy and learns that Neil is a quiet person who has been a great help to her. She mentions that Karun, who is friends with Neil, also assisted her today.

Aditya suggests that they meet Mahira to gather more information. He reveals that Mahira works at a saree shop and decides to visit there. Aditya even plans to buy a saree for Kaashvi, who questions the need for it. He explains that she can wear it at tonight’s dinner party, and she agrees. They leave the temple together.

Meanwhile, Arjun notices Karun’s upset expression and inquires about it. Karun reveals that he wants to buy a new saree for Mahima and won’t eat until Arjun fulfills his wish. Arjun convinces him to have a meal first and then go saree shopping. Karun insists on buying the saree first and calls Mahima. Jagdish, who overhears the conversation, advises Arjun to buy the saree for Karun’s sake since Mahima isn’t a good wife or mother. Arjun agrees and takes Karun to buy the saree.

Aditya and Kaashvi arrive at the saree shop. Kaashvi asks Aditya about their plan, and he suggests that they act like a couple. They enter the shop, where the manager instructs Mahira to show them the best collections. Arjun asks Karun to wait in the car while they shop.

Kaashvi starts asking Mahira about herself, but Mahira becomes suspicious. Aditya manages the situation, and Mahira goes to fetch some sarees. Aditya advises Kaashvi to be careful with her questioning, as their behavior has prompted them to buy more sarees. He even helps Kaashvi try on a saree, which upsets Arjun when he sees it.

Karun gets out of the car and runs into Neil. Neil informs Karun that his mother works at the shop and mentions that Karun is fortunate to have Mahima as a housewife. Karun recalls how Mahima claimed to be busy, and Neil gives him a sandwich, highlighting that Mahira always ensures he eats on time.

Aditya spots Arjun and follows him, eventually finding Karun. Kaashvi manages to obtain Mahira’s number. Meanwhile, Mahima dislikes the saree chosen for her and gets scolded by Arjun for using Karun. Mahima defends herself through tears, but Karun notices that she is lying.

The episode concludes with Dadi informing Kaashvi that she still loves Arjun.
