Young ‘Dangal’ Actor Suhani Bhatnagar Passes Away at 19

Actor Suhani Bhatnagar, best known for her portrayal of young Babita Phogat in the blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’, tragically passed away in Delhi at the age of 19. Her untimely demise on February 16 has left the film fraternity and fans in shock and grief.

Suhani’s parents revealed to the media the harrowing journey their daughter underwent in her battle with Dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease characterized by muscle weakness and skin rash. The young talent began experiencing symptoms two months prior, initially dismissed as common swelling. However, her condition worsened, leading to her admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on February 7.

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Suhani’s health deteriorated rapidly due to complications arising from the disease and subsequent treatment. Her parents recounted how an infection took hold during her hospitalization, causing fluid buildup in her lungs, ultimately resulting in her passing.
