Akshay Kumar Unwraps ‘Welcome 3’ Teaser as Birthday Gift to Fans
In a birthday surprise that left fans buzzing with excitement, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar treated himself and his loyal followers to an exclusive sneak peek of “Welcome 3: Welcome to the Jungle” on his 56th birthday.
The upcoming comedy extravaganza boasts a star-studded ensemble cast that reads like a who’s who of Bollywood, including Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Rajpal Yadav, Johny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev, and even singing sensations Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh.
Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share the teaser, playfully remarking, “Khud ko aur aap sab ko ek birthday gift diya hai aaj (I have given a gift to you and myself on my birthday today). The teaser kicks off with the entire star cast donning military-style outfits, brandishing their ‘weapons’, and hilariously attempting to belt out the iconic Welcome song. Disha Patani brings her vocal prowess to the mix, but things take a hilarious turn when Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh decide to add their own musical flair, much to Arshad Warsi’s chagrin.
Sanjay Dutt quips, “Paaji khud ka gana theek se gaate nahi ho ek dusre ka gana kyu kharab karte ho (you can’t sing your own songs properly, why do you spoil each other’s songs)?
Suniel Shetty, ever the voice of reason, questions, “Kaun leke aaya yaar inhe (who brought them here)?” while demonstrating the sound of an instrument. A young girl pipes up, explaining that it’s called ‘acapella’. As the cast gears up to sing again, Disha tries to add her own musical twist, prompting Akshay to tease, “Is this a solo or a group performance?”
The teaser also confirms that Ahmed Khan will be directing the film, set to make its theatrical debut on December 20, 2024.
