Sriram Raghavan Unveils the Intriguing World of “Merry Christmas” in Riveting Trailer

Opening with a nod to Raghavan’s previous film, “Andhadhun,” the trailer features two mixer grinders—one filled with peanuts and red chillies, and the other with what appears to be sleeping drugs. This subtle callback sets the stage for a narrative that promises to be as engaging and enigmatic as its predecessor.

As the trailer unfolds, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s characters meet on Christmas Eve, setting off a chain of events that quickly spiral into serious trouble. Tinnu Anand’s voiceover introduces the setup, and Sanjay Kapoor makes a notable appearance, adding depth to the ensemble cast.

Several intriguing elements hint at the suspenseful nature of the film, including Katrina’s mysterious request for Vijay to choose between her two fingers. A postcard featuring a young Rajesh Khanna with the quote, “The night is darkest before the dawn,” adds an air of foreboding to the narrative.
