The episode begins with Anirudha and Jhanak discussing the wedding saree and the vermilion. Arshi asks Jhanak if anyone wants to marry her, which embarrasses Jhanak. She assures them that she will reveal this matter later. Meanwhile, Badoma asks if she can’t wear such clothes. Jhanak promises to throw them into the Ganga river and states that the saree and sindoor will no longer bother them. She then goes into her room.
Jhanak goes to Anirudh’s room and asks him for a favor. She requests him to throw the saree into the water. Anirudh is surprised and asks if she is still thinking about marriage. He advises Jhanak to focus on her studies and become independent. However, Jhanak insists that she will return to Kashmir soon as she misses the place and doesn’t want to live in Anirudh’s house.
Anirudh reminds Jhanak that Tejas will harm her again if she goes back to Kashmir. But Jhanak remains stubborn and insists on going. Anirudh is confused by Jhanak’s behavior and asks if she wants to continue living a restricted life. Jhanak clarifies that she just wants to quit her studies. However, Anirudh encourages her to pursue her dreams and passions. He believes that if she focuses on her studies, the negative environment will fade away. Anirudh asks Jhanak for her book list so he can buy the books for her. Jhanak reminds him that he is getting married to Arshi next week and tells him not to think about their marriage.
In the end, Jhanak convinces Anirudh to throw the saree and sindoor into the water. She tells him not to consider their relationship anymore. Anirudh is given the saree and sindoor and contemplates whether to keep them instead of throwing them away.
Later, Anirudh apologizes to Shristi and Vinayak for hurting them. Shristi reprimands Anirudh for his unpredictable behavior. Anirudh defends Jhanak and promises to take care of her. However, Shristi believes there is something wrong with Jhanak’s character and speaks ill of her.
In the upcoming episode, Arshi will celebrate her birthday in Anirudh’s house. All the family members will be there except Anirudh, who will be busy celebrating Jhanak’s birthday.
