Hrithik Roshan Unveils First Look from ‘Fighter’: Fans Draw ‘Top Gun’ Comparisons
Hrithik Roshan, the popular Bollywood actor, recently delighted his fans by sharing a brand-new still from his upcoming film Fighter. This was the first look Hrithik revealed from the movie, and he took to Instagram to share it.
The image features Hrithik dressed in a uniform, with his hand resting on a fighter plane. He is seen gazing at the aircraft, with his back turned towards the camera. The backdrop of the picture showcases lush greenery. Although Hrithik didn’t add a caption, he included hashtags indicating the film’s title, release date (“25 January 2024”), and that it was seven months away.
“Fighter” is being promoted as India’s first aerial action film, with Siddharth Anand as the director. Apart from Hrithik Roshan, the movie also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. It is scheduled for release in theatres in 2024.

Hrithik’s post received various responses from the film fraternity and fans. Hrithik’s co-star Anil Kapoor responded to the picture by posting a raised fist emoji. Sanjeeda Shaikh and Zoya Akhtar expressed their appreciation with heart emojis. Pashmina Roshan, Hrithik’s relative, expressed her excitement with fire emojis. Some fans compared the film to Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick, with a few comments suggesting it might be a Bollywood remake or an Indian version of the Hollywood film.
On the positive side, many supporters expressed their excitement and praised Hrithik’s superhero-like presence in the movie. Fans eagerly anticipated the film and shared their enthusiasm in the comments section.
Hrithik had previously shared a poster of Fighter on Instagram in October of the previous year, with the caption indicating the release date. He also posted a Fighter teaser in January 2021, expressing his gratitude and excitement for the project.
In addition to Fighter, Hrithik Roshan is set to star in War 2, an action thriller alongside Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is yet to receive an official release date.
