Jhanak 27th December 2023 Written Update: Jhanak wants return her birthday gifts

The latest episode of Jhanak showcases a new drama unfolding in the Mukherjee household. Apu requests Jhanak to serve her food first, but Anirudha’s mother insults her, causing both Apu and her mother to feel hurt. Apu’s mother is deeply offended by Anirudh’s mother’s harsh words. Jhanak also questions her motherhood. Despite Anirudha’s attempts to intervene, Jhanak stands up for Apu.

In an effort to console Apu, Jhanak assures her that she will prepare dishes exclusively for her. Anirudh also promises to serve Apu himself. However, Anirudha’s mother continues to taunt Jhanak for prioritizing Apu. To diffuse the situation, Anirudh feeds Apu with his own hands, which deeply moves her. Apu breaks down in tears upon seeing her mother’s teary eyes. Apu’s mother also apologizes for cursing her.

Eventually, everyone manages to regain control of their emotions, and Anirudh feeds Jhanak with his own hands. He also realizes that Apu remains calm and composed whenever Jhanak is by her side. Meanwhile, Arshi arrives and questions Anirudh about his presence with Apu. She is clearly offended by their closeness.

Despite Anirudh’s attempts to manage the chaos, Apu taunts Arshi for her confrontational behavior. Arshi mentions that she will return in the evening as she has an urgent matter to attend to. Anirudh requests Arshi not to leave, but she pretends to be busy. On the other hand, Shristi and Vinayak also join them, and the Mukherjee family warmly welcomes them.

Later, Jhanak discovers some gifts in her room, which surprises her. However, she is unsure of who left the gifts for her. She soon realizes that they are from Anirudha. Jhanak decides to return the gifts to him, as she does not need them, and goes to the dining table. Anirudh becomes offended upon seeing the gifts in Jhanak’s hands, but he doesn’t say anything. Jhanak gives all the gifts to Arshi and wishes her a happy birthday. Shristi asks Jhanak how she managed to buy such expensive gifts, and Arshi also questions her about it. Jhanak then asks Anirudh why he gave her those gifts.

The episode ends with a preview of Anirudh confessing to everyone that it is Jhanak’s birthday, which is why he gave her the gifts.
