The episode begins with the Ahuja family and Kohli family witnessing Virat holding Amruta. Babita is about to scold Amruta, but Dildar intervenes. Dildar fabricates a story in front of the Kohli family, claiming that Amruta is a nurse taking care of Dadi. Dadi also plays along with Dildar’s story and tells the Kohli family that Amruta is her personal nurse. Dildar asks Dadi to fetch water for Amruta, and she agrees, leaving the room.
Dildar takes the Kohli family away from there. Babita questions Virat’s ability to handle Amruta and makes a remark about him.
Dadi offers water to Amruta, who expresses her gratitude and drinks it. Mrs. Shikawat mentions that Amruta is a banker, but Rajiv tells his mother not to say anything further. Babita offers a sweet to Amruta and insists she have it, to which Amruta thanks her and eats it.
Later, Babita introduces Sanjana to Virat. Amruta asks Babita if she can leave, but Babita urges her to stay as the party has just begun.
Jahan approaches Bhavani and informs her that Ishika is making negative comments about them on social media. Jahan suggests seeking revenge by creating 12 fake accounts to criticize Ishika. Bhavani advises against it and expresses her desire for Amruta to get married. Jahan suggests two options: convincing Gowtham to marry Amruta or having Jayesh pretend to be Amruta’s partner for a few months. Bhavani reveals that she has already attempted the latter, but it didn’t work. Jahan assures Bhavani that she will think of another solution and leaves.
Amruta counts the laddoos while hearing that Virat is heading towards the kitchen. She asks him what else he plans on making for her. Babita remarks that Amruta has yet to become a servant, to which Amruta expresses her desire to leave. Babita instructs Amruta to leave after placing the laddoos on the table.
Babita asks Virat to show Sanjana the house, but he suggests doing it after the engagement ritual. Babita questions Virat about his distance from Sanjana, but he reminds her that today is Nimrit’s engagement and they should focus on her, not him. Dadi tells Virat that they are simply asking him to like Sanjana today, as he can marry her later.
Babita explains the Kudmayi ritual, where the bride’s brother and sister-in-law put the dupatta on the bride. Virat and Sanjana are about to do the ritual, but Sanjana slips and falls. Amruta quickly catches the dupatta and performs the ritual with Virat, placing the dupatta on Nimrit. Babita is shocked and wonders how dare Amruta.
