R Madhavan Is Amazed By Kangana Ranaut And Describes Her As A Brilliant Actor
When it comes to stating his thoughts, R Madhavan never holds back. He recently addressed his experience working with powerful women in his acting career, and he praised Tanu Weds Manu’s co-star Kangana Ranaut.
During an interview with a news outlet, Madhavan expressed his admiration for Kangana. He also praised Kangana for bringing her energy and versatility to the big screen by branching out into other genres.
He went on to say that he had the wonderful pleasure of working alongside strong women such as Kangana or Shalini, among others, who were all opinionated ladies. He also stated that they are neither pushovers nor stereotypical heroines who dance in a number of films, get slapped by the guy, and walk away.
“I am giving Kangana due credit for it, it is extremely smart and important for all of us. She is really an extraordinary actor who brings so much to the roles that she does. And look at what she is doing today across all genres of films, I am quite in awe,” Madhavan stated.
During the Tanu Weds Manu franchise, Madhavan and Kangana shared screen time for the first time. It was a joy for moviegoers to see them work together. Madhavan also had the opportunity to romance Kangana in two separate roles in Tanu Weds Manu Returns movie.
R Madhavan was last seen in the psychological crime thriller film Dhokha: Round D Corner, streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Last year, he also made his directorial debut with the Indian biographical drama film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect last. Kangana will soon be seen as former Prime Minister “Indira Gandhi” in the film “Emergency,” which she additionally produced and directed.
