Imlie 17th December 2023 Written Update: Agastya and Amma ji is drunk

The episode starts with Biswa asking Imlie if she has forgotten something, to which Imlie responds that she cannot forget her mother. The artist then shows Imlie a sketch that resembles her mother, making her feel like she is seeing her mother in front of her. However, Biswa stops Imlie from leaving and reveals that she witnessed a murder in her childhood. He wants to know if the person who was killed was her mother. Imlie tries to remember the face of the person and eventually recalls that it was Meera.

Meanwhile, Agastya calls Imlie, but Biswa switches off the phone before she can answer. Imlie feels shattered realizing that it was indeed her mother who was killed. She cries, feeling that God is cruel to take away two mothers from her.

In the meantime, Biswa calls Agastya’s number. Biswa drops Imlie off and notices Agastya watching them. Imlie also sees Agastya and tries to explain the situation to him, thinking that he might have misunderstood. However, Agastya remains calm and tells her that it’s reasonable for her to meet Biswa by chance. Imlie feels angry at Agastya’s indifference, which puzzles him.

Later, Sonali tries to convince Imlie and Shivani to abandon their plan of getting Amma ji drunk. Instead, they want Amma ji and Agastya to resolve their differences.

At night, Karam complains to Govind for not being invited to the party. He decides to watch from above and take funny pictures of Shivani. Sonali and Shivani serve Agastya and Amma ji spiked drinks while Imlie dances to distract everyone. Agastya joins Imlie and she complains to Amma ji about his interference.

Amma ji tells Imlie that Agastya doesn’t listen to her anymore. However, Agastya contradicts her and says that she means everything to him. He acknowledges that Amma ji has been an example of a woman who successfully balanced family and business, but he believes her actions were wrong. Imlie is puzzled by this, while Annapurna agrees with Amma ji and blames herself for teaching Sonali to dream and pursue her dreams. Imlie defends Sonali and tells Amma ji that Sonali’s separation from Amrit is not her fault. Agastya, however, agrees with Amma ji and takes responsibility for everything happening in their lives.

Worried about Imlie, Agastya goes downstairs to search for her when she doesn’t show up. In the precap, Agastya carries Imlie to the room and she tells him that the contract will soon be finished. Agastya responds by saying that their relationship will also be finished soon.
