Yodha Takes Flight: Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Team Soar High for a Unique Trailer Launch at 37,000 Feet

The highly-anticipated action film, “Yodha,” took its trailer launch to new heights—literally! The entire cast, including stars Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani, directors Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, producers Karan Johar, Apoorv Mehta, Shashank Khaitan, and distributor Anil Thadani, boarded a specially customized flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad for this one-of-a-kind event.

The flight, tailor-made to echo the essence of “Yodha,” featured custom seats and tablets for the media on board. As the plane ascended, Karan Johar, at the helm of this unique launch, revealed the special code to unlock the tablets, unveiling the exhilarating trailer of “Yodha” mid-air. The unconventional trailer launch perfectly mirrored the film’s plot, where the story revolves around a crucial flight. In the movie, Sidharth Malhotra portrays an Indian soldier, while Disha Patani takes on the role of an air hostess.

The grand trailer launch continued with an event at a packed theatre in Ahmedabad, where eager fans awaited the arrival of their favorite stars. Despite battling a sore throat, Karan Johar enthusiastically answered questions and reminisced about his journey in the industry. Responding to queries about a possible reunion with his students—Alia Bhatt, Sidharth, and Varun Dhawan—Johar humorously reflected on the passage of 12 years, remarking that his students still looked the same.

Disha Patani candidly addressed the ongoing nepotism debate, expressing gratitude to Karan Johar for spotting her potential during her early days in modeling. She acknowledged that her entry into the industry was a result of the opportunity provided by Johar, countering the criticism associated with nepotism as an outsider herself.

Sidharth Malhotra, moved by the overwhelming cheers from fans, shared reflections on his journey from “Student of the Year” to “Yodha,” stating that “Yodha” felt like a completion of his evolution as an actor. Expressing gratitude to Karan Johar for the opportunity, he emphasized the profound impact it had on his career.

“Yodha,” an action-packed extravaganza, is slated for theatrical release on March 15, promising audiences an adrenaline-fueled experience.
