Bollywood enthusiasts’ mixed reaction to the film ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ has started affecting Salman Khan. Radhe is the fourth consecutive film after ‘Race 3’ which has been disliked by even the die-hard fans of Salman. Although films like ‘Bharat’ and ‘Dabangg 3’ earned a lot of money at the box office, these films were unable to impress the audience.
Apparently, Salman has realized that his continuous failure at impressing the audience will impact the box office eventually. This may be the reason why Salman Khan has decided to tweak his approach. Now, the actor is slated to feature in a family drama, which will be announced on Eid al-Adha and release on the occasion of Diwali. In this film, Salman will be seen as the head of a family of four brothers.
After Salman’s father admitted the lacklustre performance of Radhe, Salman has decided to make a comeback with a well-written film. The actor also had a lengthy conversation with his close filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala. According to reports, the film ‘Kick 2’, directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, has gone into cold storage for the time being. Before Kick 2, Salman will start shooting for Bhaijaan. Reportedly, the film is based on a South-Indian flick.
In the film, Salman will be seen playing the role of a bachelor whose three younger brothers are desperate to marry their girlfriends. Aayush Sharma, Zaheer Iqbal and Asim Riaz will be seen in the role of these three brothers. Pooja Hegde will be the heroine of the film.
Apart from this film, there are reports that Salman Khan has agreed to work in the remake of this year’s superhit South-Indian film ‘Master’. This film is going to be produced by Murad Khetani in association with some other companies. In the remake, Salman will reprise the role of Vijay while talks are on for a ‘big’ actor to play Vijay Sethupathi’s part in the film. Apart from these two films, Salman is slated to shoot for Yash Raj Films’ Tiger 3 soon.
Salman Khan will also be seen in a cameo role in Yash Raj Films’ film ‘Pathan’. The film ‘Pathan’ stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
