Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to charm the audience once again as the glamorous Pooja in Dream Girl 2, and he has finally given us a glimpse of his character in the new poster. In the poster, Ayushmann is seen applying lipstick while looking at his reflection in the mirror, portraying a beautiful woman with confidence. The film is slated for release on August 25th, and Ayushmann excitedly shared the news on Instagram, hinting that there’s much more to come.

Dream Girl 2 is directed by Raaj Shaandilya, who also helmed the first instalment. This time, a new female lead, Ananya Panday, joins the cast. The film was extensively shot in Mathura.
Dream Girl 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit Dream Girl, where Ayushmann played a call centre agent with a unique talent for speaking to clients in a feminine voice. The film also starred Nushrratt Bharuccha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, and Abhishek Banerjee and was a massive box-office success, grossing over 200 crores worldwide.
Originally scheduled for a July release, the film’s producers decided to delay it to ensure top-notch VFX work for Ayushmann’s character, Pooja. Ektaa Kapoor, the film’s producer, emphasized the importance of perfecting the VFX to give audiences the best viewing experience. She wants Pooja’s appearance to be flawless and memorable for fans, making the extra effort to enhance the film’s visual effects.
