Acclaimed actor Shreyas Talpade, known for his versatile roles in Hindi and Marathi cinema, recently faced a health scare as he experienced a heart attack while filming for the upcoming movie “Welcome To The Jungle.” After being swiftly taken to Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday, an update on his condition has been provided by his wife, Deepti Shreyas Talpade.
Taking to Instagram, Deepti expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring concern and well-wishes from fans and well-wishers. She shared that Shreyas Talpade is currently in stable condition and is expected to be discharged in a few days. Deepti acknowledged the exceptional care and timely response of the medical team, highlighting their instrumental role during this challenging time.
Her Instagram post read, “I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming concern and well-wishes following the recent health scare my husband experienced. I’m relieved to update everyone that he is now in stable condition and will be discharged in a few days. The medical team’s exceptional care and timely response have been instrumental during this time, and we are grateful for their expertise.”
Deepti also requested privacy for the family as Shreyas continues his recovery. She added, “We kindly request respect for our privacy as he continues his recovery. Your unwavering support has been a tremendous source of strength for both of us.”
According to a source, Shreyas Talpade had been in good spirits and even shot for the entire day on Thursday for the Akshay Kumar-starrer “Welcome to the Jungle.” He reportedly participated in action sequences and returned home after the shoot. However, he later conveyed to his wife that he was feeling uneasy, leading to his admission to the hospital.
The hospital confirmed Shreyas Talpade’s admission, stating, “Shreyas Talpade is admitted. He was brought late in the evening. His health update is awaited.” Fans and the film industry are now relieved to hear about his stable condition and ongoing recovery.
