Yeh Hai Chahatein 18th December 2023 Written Update: Aditya blames Kaashvi for Simran’s death

Aditya calls Kaashvi and lets her know that his meeting in Delhi is done and he will be returning soon. Kaashvi, however, tells him that she is currently on a mission and will talk to him later, ending the call. Aditya is left wondering about the mission Kaashvi mentioned.

Arjun asks Kaashvi when she plans to marry Aditya. Kaashvi responds by saying that she has no intention of marrying him. She explains that she doesn’t need a husband and is content being alone. She states that she and Aditya are good friends and will remain so. Arjun is relieved to hear that Kaashvi doesn’t love Aditya. He realizes that he can’t leave Mahima for Karun, as doing so would mean losing Kaashvi.

Suddenly, they notice smoke in the room. The nurse explains that she had just lit an agarbatti. Simran begins to struggle to breathe, prompting Arjun to rush and call the doctor. Simran tells Kaashvi that her child is alive. Kaashvi is shocked by this revelation and questions how Simran knows about it. Simran discloses that five years ago, their child was switched with a dead one. She is about to reveal that Geetika is behind this when she suddenly passes away. Arjun brings the doctor to the scene, who confirms Simran’s death. Kaashvi leaves the room in distress.

Later on, Kaashvi walks aimlessly on the road, lost in her thoughts. She replays Simran’s words in her mind and wonders why this is happening to her. She mourns the loss of her child and questions why she has been punished in such a way. Kaashvi expresses her frustration to God, blaming Him for taking away both her husband and child. As she cries, she gets soaked in the rain. She vows to find her child, even though she doesn’t know if it’s a boy or a girl. Determined, she declares that she will shape her own destiny.

Romila tells Mahima that their plan worked, referring to how she disguised herself as an old lady and gave Simran’s nurse prasad and a poisonous agarbatti. Romila mocks Kaashvi and the police, believing they are fools. She praises Mahima’s plan.

Kaashvi realizes that the attacker didn’t want Simran to reveal the truth. Aditya arrives and asks her what happened. She informs him about Simran’s death and breaks down in tears. He takes her back home and scolds her for trusting Arjun’s plan, blaming her for Simran’s demise.

Kaashvi confides in Dadi, revealing that her child is alive. She tells Aditya that she needs time to process this truth and goes inside. Aditya confesses to Dadi that he was unaware of Kaashvi’s child.

Mahima assures Romila that Kaashvi will never learn the truth. Aditya apologizes to Kaashvi and promises to support her always. Kaashvi asserts that she will find her child, no matter what.
