Barsatein-Mausam Pyaar Ka 18th December 2023 Written Update: Aradhna suffers from post traumatic stress

The latest episode begins with Aradhna touching Reyansh and expressing her concern for him. She calls for a doctor as Reyansh regains consciousness. Reyansh mentions how Aradhna had promised not to even look at his lifeless body, but she still came. In a flashback, it is revealed that Reyansh had asked the people at the accident scene to inform Aradhna about his death, offering a large sum of money as compensation. He tells Aradhna that her presence proves she still cares for him and loves him.

Reyansh then reveals that he had forced the doctor to cover him with a white bedsheet to create a misunderstanding. Aradhna is furious and questions Reyansh’s behavior. Reyansh insists that everything he said was true, his heart had stopped, but her arrival saved him. He proudly declares that Aradhna is shedding tears for him. According to Reyansh, anything is fair in love and war.

Jay asks the doctor to take care of Reyansh and inform them if any assistance is required. Reyansh pleads with the doctor to save him, as he now has a reason to live. Aradhna apologizes to Jai, feeling guilty for hurting him. Jai consoles her, acknowledging her love for Reyansh. Aradhna appreciates Jai’s understanding. Jai goes to talk to the police to ensure Reyansh doesn’t get arrested.

Reyansh receives treatment while Aradhna waits outside for him. Aradhna suggests to Jai that they go home, but he insists that she can stay. However, Aradhna believes Reyansh doesn’t need her and decides to leave with Jai. Reyansh sees her leaving but believes that her heart still beats for him, giving him a reason to live.

One month later, Reyansh and Aradhna attend marriage counseling. Aradhna confesses that she is unable to be a good wife and daughter-in-law. Reyansh explains that she is always in a depressed and fearful state since receiving a call about her past. In a flashback, Aradhna panics upon receiving calls from Reyansh, but Jai assures her that it must be a food delivery person. He calms her down and promises to return home.

Back to the present, the counselor asks Aradhna about her fear. She reveals that she is afraid Reyansh knows her too well and will use her weaknesses to harm her family and husband. Aradhna admits that she struggles to understand her own emotions. She explains how death brings back memories but also signifies an end. Aradhna breaks down and expresses her fear of facing her past. Reyansh simply wants her to overcome her fears. The counselor warns that even though their marriage may last, she will have to confront her ex again, as he won’t leave her easily.

The episode concludes with Jai encouraging Aradhna to join his office and work as his star reporter.
