Kavya 25th December 2023 Written Update: Kavya gets proof of Adi’s innocence

The latest episode of Kavya begins with a heated argument between Kavya and Amanpreet. Kavya insists that she should go to jail instead of Adi, as Ashish’s death happened under her care. Amanpreet, however, tells Kavya to stop sacrificing herself for Adi. Sangram interrupts and points out that the CCTV footage clearly shows Adi as the only one present when the witness lost consciousness. Amanpreet questions why Adi even came to the hospital in the first place. Kavya reveals that Adi had come to propose to her. She regrets that Adi is now in jail because of her, and she even suggests that Amanpreet should call the police to arrest her. Amanpreet refuses to do so, reminding Kavya that it would be pointless.

Meanwhile, Rajiv is worried about Kavya and blames Adi for her situation. Mayank urges Rajiv to stop constantly blaming Adi. Amanpreet encourages Kavya to balance her work and personal life and sees this situation as an opportunity for her to prove herself. She asks Kavya to give an official statement to the reporters, and Kavya agrees.

Giriraj calls Kavya and mocks her, but she brushes off his remarks. During the press conference, Kavya informs the reporters that the police are investigating the witness’s death and she cannot provide any further information. The reporters question whether she is trying to protect Adi despite the evidence against him. They mention that the CCTV footage shows Adi with the witness at 3:15 pm. Kavya recalls that Adi had mentioned showing a ring to Malini when she returned from the club.

Kavya approaches Amanpreet and reveals that Adi couldn’t have been with the witness at the time he lost consciousness. She explains that Adi mentioned showing a ring to Malini when she returned from the club, and Malini always returns at 3 pm. Given the minimum 25-minute travel time from his house to the hospital, Adi couldn’t have been present at 3:15 pm. Kavya decides to check the CCTV footage at the hospital to confirm her theory.

At the hospital, Kavya confronts the staff and manages to find the backup CCTV footage. She confirms that Adi is not at the hospital during the critical time. Kavya downloads the footage onto her pen drive and leaves.

Kavya calls Giriraj and informs him that she has found evidence to get Adi released, making it clear that she doesn’t need his help. She then hangs up on him. Kavya heads to the police station, where reporters surround her, questioning her motives. Giriraj and Omi arrive, and they all enter the station together.

Giriraj demands Kavya to show him the proof she mentioned. However, when Kavya tries to play the backup video footage from the hospital, she realizes that it doesn’t work. Confused, Kavya wonders what is happening.

It is revealed that while Kavya was distracted by the reporters, someone stole her pen drive containing the evidence. Kavya identifies the thief as the same person seen in the CCTV footage. Giriraj asks Kavya if this is the person she saw in the footage, and she confirms it. Giriraj informs her that the backup video footage from the hospital has also been deleted. He questions how she will save Adi now.

The episode ends with a preview showing Adi’s release from jail and Kavya making a promise to her father that she will forget about Adi and seek Rajiv’s help.
