Doree 21st December 2023 Written Update: Anand in a tight spot

The episode begins with Komal expressing her concern to Mansi about Anand’s rude behavior towards Doree. She questions how he would treat his own daughter if he had one. Anand dismisses the topic and urges her to finish cooking quickly. Meanwhile, Ganga Prasad returns to Basti and is asked by Prem about the Diwali salary. He reveals that they won’t be celebrating Diwali this year and asks for forgiveness. Kailash Devi is seen washing the priest’s feet and expressing gratitude for his visit on Diwali. Sudha apologizes to Lakshman, blaming herself for their infertility. Lakshman reassures her that it’s not her fault and that it’s not written in their destiny to have children. Kailash Devi’s partial treatment towards everyone becomes apparent, causing a distance between them. The priest blesses Vansh and checks Mansi’s hand, revealing a shocking revelation. He claims that everyone must attend his pooja and asks about Mansi’s daughter. The revelation leaves everyone in shock.

Mansi remembers the moment when Anand threw her daughter into the river. Kailash Devi tries to clarify the misunderstanding, stating that Mansi gave birth to a son. Kailash Devi insists that she didn’t make any mistakes and decides to prevent the breeze from entering the house by closing the windows and doors. To everyone’s shock, a power cut occurs.

Thakurian suggests that there might be a short circuit, emphasizing that the house should not be in darkness on Diwali. They notice a light from afar, and Doree appears holding a diya in her hands. The priest commends her, but Kailash Devi glares at her. Komal points out that despite the storm outside, Doree’s diya remains lit. Mansi believes that it’s a blessing from Mata Rani.
